Our selection process
We challenge social entrepreneurs to present innovative solutions that will contribute to a better life for children and youth. In our search for applicants we rely on reaching out through both our networks and our partner’s media platforms. We have a broad and extensive selection process with support from co-workers at our partners and experts in the social sector.
Our selection process has five steps. In step one; potential social entrepreneurs hand in their pitch, describing a creative, new idea that will better the life for children and young people. Those who go on to step two are requested to hand in a business plan that describes their venture in detail. Step three consists of desk research and references are contacted and in step four we make personal interviews. Those who make it to the fifth and final step will meet our jury, who make the final selection of those who will become Playing for Change’s social entrepreneurs – our Playmakers. The jury is composed of experienced business entrepreneurs representing our partners, together with one of the Playing for Change management.
